With the grand opening only months away, the search is on for healthcare heroes to join the STHS family and become a part of healthcare history in the Rio Grande Valley. Beginning April 5, South Texas Health System’s human resources department will host “Towering Forward Tuesdays” hiring events every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. inside the STHS Regional Operations Center at 1400 W. Trenton Rd. in Edinburg.
The more than $6,000 donation will be matched by South Texas College to offer scholarships for Valley students interested in careers in healthcare.
