Childbirth Education Classes — 2013

We've added more courses for 2013!

Mothers- and fathers-to-be can ease those first time jitters, or get a refresher course about the ways your little one may come into the world! This class explores how the body changes during pregnancy and the stages of labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. The basics of breastfeeding will also be discussed. Parents-to-be will be able to take a tour of the Birthing Center of South Texas, located on the third floor of McAllen Medical Center.

English Classes:

This class is free for expectant parents who are preregistered at McAllen Medical Center. Diabetes Education Classes

Diabetes education classes are available every other week in English and Spanish.
