Women's Services

Knowing your body
Caring for the special needs of women at all stages through life is our dedication. From family planning to pregnancy and through menopause, we believe every woman we treat owes herself the education and preventative healthcare we have to offer. When we commit to work together — throughout your life — your body’s medical history and everything else about you, become the whole person we come to know well, treat and care for.

For information about pregnancy and childbirth, visit the Birthing Center of South Texas.

For help finding an obstetrician, call 800.879.1033.

Lifelong Care
Because even the natural changes in women’s bodies can be abrupt and extreme, we cannot stress strongly enough the importance of regular medical evaluation for women of all ages and life stages. In addition to annual well-woman exams, a full range of gynecological services are available in a clinic or hospital setting.

Gynecological and women’s health services include:

  • Pap smears
  • Pelvic exams
  • Birth control methods
  • Family planning
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) treatment
  • Breast exams
  • Tubal ligation
  • Menopause consultation and therapies
  • Hormonal Replacement Therapy (HRT)
  • Osteoporosis
  • Domestic violence counseling
