Respiratory Services at McAllen Heart Hospital

respiratory services
The Respiratory Therapy Department at McAllen Medical Heart Hospital is unlike any other department at other hospitals. There are no different levels of therapists for job roles. Insttead, the same therapist who does the initial screening or function testing could be the same therapist who sets up the ventilator and manages the patient from extubation to postop routine therapy. Unlike other hospitals, many of our patients know us on a first name basis and are at ease when we approach them postoperatively for therapy because we have already established a relationship before surgery. Respiratory therapists at McAllen Medical Heart Hospital are involved in all aspects of our patients' care.
