Emergency Services at McAllen Medical Center

emergency servicesThe Emergency Department at McAllen Medical Center plays an essential role in caring for the urgent healthcare needs of residents of McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley. As the designated lead Trauma Center for Hidalgo County, the emergency department is ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients who need immediate emergency surgery, including trauma, orthopedic or neurological procedures. The department cares for more than 30,000 patients each year, including those who have serious injuries.

In situations where time is critical, it's good to know McAllen Medical Center operates 24 hours a day with a full staff of emergency physicians and nurses.
